On December 12, 2004, our team released the ebook “Success In 10 Steps”, the story of what we have learned from 26 years in MLM.

Back in 1991, my mentor was making full-time income from MLM.

He retired from that company and actually joined over 100 network marketing companies in the next few years, to figure out how this industry really works: the good, the bad, the ugly.

1. Got on dozens of company conference calls
2. Organized & categorized companies, products, compensation plans, distributor kits, & marketing materials to compare each company with all the others
3. Studied their business models, to understand what kind of behavior certain business models drove
4. Studied how different “upline gurus” trained (or did not train) their people

This process answered all the mysteries. It also revealed some valuable, valuable secrets about network marketing.

Example #1:

The hard-driving, closing salesperson is about 8% of the population. And those 8% have convinced the other 92% that the 8% are right and the 92% are wrong.

How did they do that?

Because that is what THEY do. It works for them, so they have total confidence they are right, and when you feel their confidence, you KNOW they must be right, so you do what they tell you.

92% of the world’s population is sales-resistant.

They do not like to be sold, and they do not want to become that pushy, aggressive salesperson nobody likes. Yet when they join MLM, some upline leader tells them,

“Make a list of your friends and family. Call them up. Get ‘em into the business. You need to hear 100 ‘No’s for every ‘Yes’.

Guess what?

It still only works for the 8%.

If you let them mesmerize you, you can wander aimlessly in the “failure” desert for years…

You can’t become something you hate in order to be successful. This model works for the 8% who are real salespeople.

Example #2:

Every person on the planet has to be educated in the skills of what they’re doing.

Whether you’re a doctor, carpenter, plumber, ditch digger … whatever you are… You’ve got to be taught the skills of that business.

And what “Success In 10 Steps” does for people is, it gets them to realize,

It’s not your fault! The people teaching you didn’t know any better.

They weren’t bad people. They weren’t lying to you intentionally. They just didn’t know any other way to do the business.

Do you think you can wake up one morning and say, “I’m going to be a doctor!”

And you go down and join a company, get a distributor kit for 50 bucks, and you’re a doctor?

Of course not. That’s ludicrous.

How about a carpenter?

No way. You have to learn pitches and square and level and plumb.

You have to be taught the skills. Yet people get in network marketing, and they’re told,

“Call your friends & family.” It’s the biggest fallacy in the industry.

Network marketing is not a sales business.

It’s a teaching & mentoring business.

When you build people, people will build your business. Those upline guru leaders will tell you,

“Well, you didn’t make enough phone calls. You’re a loser. If it’s to be, it’s up to me.” Have you heard all that stuff?

So the ebook really opens people’s eyes to the fact that they’ve been lied to. You must do your business with people who WANT to be in business with you. You have to sell product to people who LOVE the product and want to buy it. That only comes through target marketing.

We learned early-on about targeted marketing.

Only talk to people who have raised their hand and want what you have.

Well, guess what? EVERY person who downloads “Success In 10 Steps” is trying to figure out why MLM is not working for them. When you call them up, they could be in a company already. They could be working the business a year or 2 or 5, 7, 10 years. But why would they download that ebook?

They’re divulging some critical information. The business is not working for them.

They want to figure out what the problem is. And they’re looking to you for help. THAT is the basis of a long-term relationship, and THAT is the effect you can create with “Success In 10 Steps.”

There is no doubt that blogs are the “it” thing today in the online world. Wherever you surf, blogs are sprouting everywhere like mushrooms, whether they’re used for personal or business purposes. But for starters, what is a blog anyway? It is a diary where you can post your thoughts or feelings or whatnots, except that it is online and the public can read it. But enough of that. Gone were the days when they were used solely for personal reasons. On the business side, they can be a very useful tool to boost your business, and to keep your customers updated on the products and infos you have. But if you’re still struggling to catch up on the latest thing these days and you think you’re not much of a great writer either, let me give you some useful subjects you can write about to give your customers a lot of reasons to keep coming back to your site.

1. News. Okay, so maybe that’s basic. After all, your company or business is the reason you put up a blog, right? Write about the products you sell. Give them a bit of the benefits your potential customers might get for buying them, with a link back to your main site to read the entire sales letter. You can also write about updates to your product. Post news about the industry you’re in. If you’re selling products that help people get better search engine rankings, write about search engine news. Or, if you or your service has been featured on TV, papers, or notable websites, write about it. Don’t forget to post seminars or gatherings where you’ve been invited.

2. History of your business. Maybe this one has already been in your main website, but who cares? People forget it. They come and go and chances are, when they visit your site, they don’t read it. Write about how you began, the reputation and achievements you’ve earned, and the accolades or awards you received, with a link back your site. That way you’ll let them know why they should buy from you, and that you’re a real person who’s building a reputable business. Add some employee’s profile if you have someone working for you, too. If you have nice traffic or site stats, that’s also worth mentioning.

3. Customer’s feedback. When a raving customer emails you about how your product has helped him, share it in your blog. You’re giving your visitors a compelling reason to buy from you.

4. Site of the week / month. Mention a site that doesn’t compete with you but complements to your won. Explain to them why you like it, and why it deserves your accolade.

5. Contests, surveys, trivia, questionnaires. If you’re running a contest, post it in your blog to encourage visitors to join. Get their attention by including the prizes, a bit of the rules, with a link back to your site for more information regarding it. Or put a survey. That could give you information regarding the product you’re selling, as to how you could develop it further.

6. Tip of the day. Write about a new tactic you developed or something you learned and perfected.

So there. Whatever your business is, no doubt there’s always something you’ll definitely want to write about. Give it a try. And it will reward you soon.

Business Forum

There’s a lot of blogs out there on the Web, most of which don’t entice one to go back regularly to read updates. What is missing from these on-line journals that would essentially make them ‘good’ blogs? Well, the answers in life usually come down to simplicities. So let’s look at the problem like we were children. Children don’t complicate life with miscellaneous information, and when they speak they tell you straight to the point exactly how they feel and think about a subject.

First of all, we should ask the questions,” Why do blogs exist? And what are they here for?” Well, in an ideal world ‘good’ blogs would help people connect, sharing knowledge and feelings about issues in life. As they are journals written by individuals we would hope that they’d be readable and open to comment by all other people, not just a select group of friends. The key is speaking in a way that is understandable by the masses, get rid of acronyms and local slang that only few will comprehend. Keep the sentences grammatically simple and generally short and concise.

Try to write in your blog as often as possible because if people enjoy reading your thoughts and ideas they’ll want to communicate or at least be filled in regularly on ‘your world’. Ask questions, comment on other blogs of similar content, start communities with others you’ve never met, based on your interests. Keep focused; if your blog is about thoughts on war and peace, keep your thoughts on the latest movie and how hungry you are for somewhere else. The idea is to incite intelligent communication so that in time our collective stockpile of knowledge and wisdom will gradually grow like a tree in fertile soil.

I think of most importance is the fact that you want this journal to be ‘good’ reading. Of course we all have ideas about what genres and styles we like, but writing from your heart and soul is imperative for the connection with others that you’re looking for. Share yourself; don’t hide behind walls of fear of ridicule and judgment. In real life relationships trust, respect, intimacy, and unity are all necessary for a bond to form. It’s the same in the ‘virtual’ world; people want to hear from real people-not just one-sided, highly opinionated arguments from egos that don’t want to hear the ‘other side of the coin’.

Now, in my last article I really tore apart most writers out there, and here I’m giving some pretty complex ideas on how to fix the problem of ‘bad’ writing. In my next article I’ll attempt to go back to the simple basics of how to write for beginners. I hope I haven’t come across as too judgmental, I just truly believe the ‘blog world’ could become a real asset to humanity, and at the moment it’s missing the mark.

Ideas about sentence structure, grammar, paragraphing, using a thesaurus (varying terms used so as not to sound repetitive), whether or not your blog is suitable for a personal or professional approach, are all important to creating a simple and enjoyable read for the blogging visitor. Tôi cũng chẳng biết bắt đầu tìm hiểu từ đâu, để kiếm tiền đó ta phải làm như thế nào, kiếm tiên trên mạng liệu có thực không? Bao nhiêu câu hỏi cứ hiện lên trong đầu tôi. Tuy nhiên không phải tất cả đều diễn ra tốt đẹp, có những vụ chũng tôi không được thanh toán, chũng tôi có thể dùng từ bị lừa. Nhưng chũng tôi luôn tin rằng trên thế giới này mỗi khi chúng tôi gặp một người xấu thì đâu đó có những người tốt.

Thế giới Online hay thế giời thực chẳng khác nhau là mầy, nếu bạn không không hơn người ta thì bạn sẽ bị lừa gạt đó là điều tất yếu. Bạn có nghĩ vậy không? Bạn là một chuyên gia về máy tình, bạn có thể mua máy tình tốt với già phải chăng, nhưng bạn có đảm bào bạn mua một cái kính mắt tốt với giá hợp lý chăng, trừ phi bạn biết về nó, nếu không bạn sẽ bị xỏ mủi. Ngay cả thế giời thực còn như vậy, và thế giới online cũng thế, điều quan trong là các bạn học cách đương đầu với chúng, tìm cách hiệu quả đề giúp mình không bị lừa chứ không phải tìm cách trốn chạy nó. Lợi nhuận mà Internet giúp chúng ta không thể ai chối cãi được, nhưng mặt hại của nó cũng nhiều, vì vậy chúng ta cần học cách đương đầu với chúng chứ không phải là chạy trốn chúng.
